Our School

Our Values

  • Past and present students met in June 2020 to articulate what Fir Vale School stands for. This is what they said:

  • Fir Vale School is made up of loads of different ethnicities. We are all humans. Together, we are part of the makeup of Britain.

  • We should celebrate success, hard work and achievement, and take pride in what we do. We should have confidence in ourselves and show respect for our environment and our communities.

  • We should take an interest in learning about what we have in common and be kind to one another - treat others as you want to be treated.

  • We want everyone to be safe and comfortable at Fir Vale School.

  • If you see someone you don’t know, take the step to make them feel comfortable – uplifting others makes them and you feel better.

  • Take the opportunity to experience things outside your own culture.

  • We have an opportunity to shape the future. We live in a democracy where we all have a chance to vote. We should use that opportunity.

  • Find out what is right for you – make opportunities and work hard to achieve your goals.

  • Be determined, never give up; sometimes things are hard but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Respect good laws that are there for all of our safety and protection.

  • Help others when you can, do charity work and help in the community.
