Lin Manual Miranda found global success with his theatre production of Hamilton, a hip hop style musical based on the historical figure of Alexander Hamilton, one of the American ‘Founding Fathers’. Miranda was inspired to write Hamilton after ready a biography about Alexander Hamilton and thought his life story would make a great stage show.
