Enterprising students encouraged to ‘Make Their Mark’

On the 29th November, schools from across Sheffield took part in the Final of the Make Your Mark 2 Challenge, launched during Global Entrepreneurship Week earlier in the month. Run by Sheffield‘s School Enterprise Champions, the top 5 teams presented their business ideas to the lively event hosted again this year by Barclays Bank in Sheffield City Centre. Scooping top prize on the day was ‘OlympiTechs’ from Fir Vale School in Sheffield, whose idea for a new retail ‘Apps’ outlet and Sports Mentor ‘app’ was delivered with a polished performance. Environ from High Storrs were in runners up spot with their innovative design of an internal generator model for a town centre Leisure space.Â
